This game is a remake of "Wing Commander: Privateer" from 1993. You take the role of a space captain with an old ship who travels the universe to make some money. The game isn't very linear and leaves you the freedom of choice how to do so: Will you become a peaceful merchant, a pirate or a mercanary that performs various missions for the Confederation or the Kilrathi? Of course there's also a plot in the background, but it's up to you if you want to follow it or ignore it for some more time. The whole idea is very similar to the legendara "Elite" (one of the best games ever made), but it's not as difficult, because there is automatic docking and you can choose some easy missions in the beginning and upgrade your ship several times before you'll do some heavy combat. Graphics and sounds of the game are excellent for a freeware game and the space fights look just amazing!
