Driver compatible with VirtualBox and QEMU virtual machines (Requires manual installation) Set the audio controller in the VM configuration to AC97/ICH AC97 Download the ISO file provided here. How to install the driver in Windows 98: 1.Go to Control Panel >> System >> Device Manager 2.On the "Other Devices" section, double click on "PCI Multimedia Audio Device" 3.Go to the Driver tab, then click "Update Driver" 4.Click "Next", check the second option ("Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location...") 5.Click "Next", on the list select "Sound, video and game controllers" 6.Click "Next", then click "Have disk..." 7.Click "Browse...", then point to the location of the driver (in this case "wdma_int.inf"), then click "OK" 8.Select "AC'97 Driver for Intel(r) 82801AA Controller" from the list, then click "OK" 9.Click "Next", wait for it to install and then click on "Finish" 10. Reboot Windows 98 (if it freezes, you may have to force the reboot a few times) And now you should have sound!
