Setting Cold War Visual Fixed / flip-screen Gameplay Arcade, Wargame Narrative War Perspective Top-down Vehicular Tank Genre Action Description NATO Defense is a Pac-Man -style arcade maze game in which the player is a tank and must fully clear each board of mines to save 32 different cities in the NATO alliance, including London, Birmingham, Munich and New York. Enemy tanks are present in each city, and the player must fire at those tanks to destroy them. Ammo dumps can be picked up to restock ammunition, with the player tank capable of holding a maximum of 16 shells at a time.
